Leather Zippered Covers

Hand crafted vegetable tanned leather covers.

This zippered cover is built the way that when you open your book in it, there will be nothing under the back of the book that would bend it. This way it will not break your book and when you use the covers for a notebook, there is nothing uncomfortable in the layout to keep you from writing.
To open the covers completely, there needs to be some allowance for the zipper ends. I decided to use this as an opportunity to arrange the ends as decorative elements on the back side of the covers when the book and zipper is closed.

Ask for Leather goods

Here are some thoughts that will help your letter started:

  • Mark the measurements of your (note)book. Measure the closed book and mark the width and height of the whole visible cover. Then measure the thickness of your book and mark that as well.
  • Would you like a hand carved image or pattern as a decoration? You may add your own design as a link or file. You may also let this be our decision but in this case please mark some keywords that describe the theme so we had a starting point.
  • It is possible to add some additional pockets into the covers. Also the bookmark and pencil holder are optional. Describe what would you like, if any.
  • What colour would you like?Also, the thread might be in alternating colour to the covers.
